Your role

Our customers’ installed base is your working environment. As a service technician, you will carry out maintenance and/or upgrades on electrical switchboards:

• Maintenance: visual inspections, replacing components, audits…
• Revamp: refurbishment of switchboards.
• Upgrade: complete overhaul and adding extra functionalities.

Your location will be our premises in Heusden-Zolder or Kortrijk*. The work itself is always carried out on site at the customer’s premises: manufacturing companies, industry, hospitals…

*depending on your location. We are looking for a service technician for both sites.

This is what we expect from you as our future service technician

• You have at least a qualification (BSO or TSO) in an electro technical field: electricity, electromechanics, electrical engineering…
• You have several years’ experience in a similar role. The role of service technician is not a job for recent graduates at our company. Do you have a qualification but no work experience? Then check out our vacancy for panel builder.
• You are flexible and enjoy a challenge. Every day, every project and every customer is different.
• You are a problem solver who can handle pressure. Because on site, you sometimes have to deal with unexpected factors. And for some projects, the deadlines are tight.
• You enjoy working as part of a team, but can also work independently.
• You are customer-friendly.
• You work meticulously and in accordance with safety regulations.
• You don’t have a 9-to-5 mentality. Every project is different. Sometimes you finish early, other times the work runs over.
