Your role
As an electrical designer, you will design the electrical diagrams for distribution and control panels. You will be involved in a wide variety of projects, ranging from manufacturing companies to hospitals, and from offshore wind farms to railway tunnels. Every panel we produce is custom-made.
- You will analyse the clients’ specifications and actively contribute ideas to find the most optimal and cost-effective solution.
- You study the project data to identify difficulties well in advance and report to the project manager.
- You design projects in EPLAN P8 in accordance with the specifications and legal guidelines.
- You manage the technical administration relating to the project file.
- You support the cost estimators in the development of projects or concepts.
- You work as part of a team and support colleagues in resolving technical issues.
What we expect from you
- You have at least a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- You are familiar with the EPLAN P8 CAE design package and have a basic understanding of Autocad.
- Experience in panel building is an advantage.
- Knowledge of English and French is an added bonus.
- Knowledge of the AREI, the IEC 61439 and IEC 60204 standards, and programming languages (VB, .NET, etc.) is an advantage.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office.
- You are eager to learn, take the initiative and are driven.
